Our Transport Operator will be co-ordinating the transport operations of the depot to achieve business objectives and help deliver on our value of customer 1st. You’ll be responsible for resourcing and implementing the delivery plan in conjunction with the wider team, utilising company resources, effectively managing vehicle utilisation and ensuring drivers are given clear and precise instructions. You will join us on a full-time permanent position at our Eismann Way site in Corby and in return receive a competitive salary of up-to £26,000. This particular role will be working across a Sunday - Thursday shift pattern between the hours of 23:00 - 07:00.

Are Transport Operator will be welcomed into a knowledgeable team of agile individuals, who all promote working together to be innovate in their approaches of cost-effective and efficient transport department. Our Transport Manager will be on-hand to provide coach, develop and motivate you and your team members forward.

**Key Responsibilities of our Transport Operator**:
To operate the ASCG trailer plans and tracker

To complete customer collection sheets

To ensure that the procedure for damaged deliveries

Accurately complete customer collection sheets

To achieve weekly and monthly KPIs set by the business and Customer SLA

To ensure that details of vehicle accidents are escalated to line managementl

**What we need from our Transport Operator?**

Previous experience within a transport / logistics organisation

Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Working knowledge of driver hour regulations

Good geographical knowledge of the UK

Knowledge and health and safety requirements

Experience of managing conflicting priorities in a fast-moving environment
