As Hygiene Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that your and your team complete all aspects of cleaning the factory, equipment and machinery in line with food safety standards.

You will be responsible for:

- Ensure a healthy, safe and clean working environment at all times
- Follow and implement cleaning schedules to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Plan, organise, manage and motivate your team to achieve targets
- Leading your team through team briefings, on-line coaching and problem solving
- Identifying high performers and managing the performance of the team
- People management of your team including but not limited to Recruitment, Absence management, Disciplinary/ Grievance, Performance Reviews, Training and Development

This work is within a Chilled Food Manufacturing environment (both high care and low care), previous experience working within a similar environment is essential.

**About The Role**

**HOURS OF WORK**

Monday to Friday 2130 - 0600 + every second Sunday

Please note flexibility will be required to include weekend work.

**SALARY**

£12.69 per hour (£11.69 + £1 per hour Nightshift Allowance)

**LOCATION**

251 Stirling Road, Riggend, Airdrie, ML6 7SP

Our story began in 1948, when Albert Bartlett started our family tradition of selling good-quality produce by setting up a beetroot-boiling operation in Coatbridge, Scotland.

Nine years later, Albert’s experience and expertise helped him grow the business, and along with his two sons, Jimmy and Alex, he found a new home for their flourishing company in Airdrie, Scotland.

On that very same site, we made history when we became the first factory in Britain to pre-pack carrots in a plastic bag.

Over the years, our expanding business has stayed true to Albert’s spirit of innovation and passion for quality, and we’ve built on our experience.

Today, we proudly supply potatoes from our network of farmers and growers across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Jersey.

Over 70 years since Albert started the business, we remain proudly independent and the fourth generation of the Bartlett family is now working in the company. Our headquarters are in Airdrie, only four miles or so from our founder’s original business.
