Online Trading Optimisation Specialist

**What’s the role about?**
We’re looking for an experienced optimisation specialist to help us continue to grow our centre of excellence for online optimisation within Waitrose. We drive performance and customer satisfaction measures across all points of the end-to-end of the customer journey, as well as driving customer-facing product validation, omni-channel insight & research to drive commercial strategy and Digital personalisation.

We work flexibly, mostly from home but offices available in London victoria or Bracknell should you wish to work in an office.
**What will you be doing?**
- Trying to deliver things that have not been done by the business before
- Driver of test and learn culture within online, commercial and digital teams- Own the online trading product backlog - evidencing through experimentation requirements and benefits
- Lead the digital product owners in validation & experimentation, ensuring maximum customer &/or business benefit
- Land new product capability within the online trading team
- Leverage our machine-learning capabilities to generate insight to inform marketing and commercial strategy
- Deliver a consistent personalised and segmented approach across all websites as well as engage a wider stakeholder group to ensure collaboration and alignment of shared goals (Ecommerce, Marketing, Design, IT Development & Support) for personalisation.
- Ensure all projects are delivered collaboratively and in such a way as to deliver ongoing success by working closely with key stakeholders (Internal and External).
- Upskilling and inspiring a team of stakeholders to maximise ROI from the existing personalisation and segmentation capability.
- Provision of consultation on personalisation and segmentation to business stakeholders to deliver commercial goals.
**What you'll have**:
- Significant digital experimentation and/or CRO experience
- Extensive eCommerce experience
**What else could you bring?**
- Working knowledge of Monetate would be an advantage
- Power user of Google Analytics
- Grocery retail experience
- Online Marketing/Journey experience
**Please note**:
**This is a 6-month fixed term contract, however, due to an additional period of planned absence, this is more likely to be 18-months and will be discussed further during the interviews.**
