The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a charity that provides a 24/7 365 lifeboat search and rescue service and a seasonal lifeguard service. Our lifeboat crews and lifeguards need a dedicated, professional, and talented engineering team to provide the necessary support across Scotland to our 46 lifeboat stations and 8 lifeguarded beaches.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy Regional Support Team in the Scotland Region. We are a team of 4 providing vital support to our operational volunteers, lifeguards and staff within the Scotland region. Our team is currently working in a hybrid way with a mix of home working and work from the Perth Regional Base. There is flexibility around what this looks like, but you will be expected to regularly work from the Perth Regional Base.

**About You**:
You’ll be proactive in your approach, able to adapt to conflicting priorities and feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail.

We are looking for someone with strong customer service and clear and effective written communication skills, able to build rapport with volunteers and staff, with a good telephone manner.

As a Regional Lifesaving Support Coordinator you will:

- Act as a regional point of contact for lifesaving volunteers and staff providing support and guidance
- Liaise with stations and lifeguards to order stores, equipment and PPE
- Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to raise orders and process invoices
- Coordinate crew cover & payments to help maintain operational service
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and maintain regional data using MS Excel
- Support in the planning and coordination of regional conferences, meetings and events.

Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft AX is an advantage, although full training can be given.
