**Counsellor**

**Location: Hampshire**

**Salary: £ 27,479 p/a**

**Contract Type: permanent, full-time or part time**

**Essential Requirements**

The ideal Counsellor will have:

- Counselling Diploma level minimum with 1 years counselling experience
- Current BACP membership and to conscientiously work within the BACP Ethical Framework
- At least 1 years’ experience of working with people experiencing domestic abuse
- Some experience facilitating therapeutic groups
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours: including evenings
- Must have own car and a driving licence and be prepared to travel across the contract area

**The Role**
- This is a wonderful opportunity to join a team of experienced and skilled counsellors working within a wider therapeutic team.
- As a YOU Counsellor you will have a range of tasks within the team including client one-to-one counselling caseload, help line support and with the service manager, develop and facilitate regular therapeutic psycho-educational group sessions.
- You will deliver therapeutic counselling sessions and groups in a range of geographical locations across the south of Hampshire: meeting the needs of the people we work with.
