**Business Lecturer Job Description**

Scholars School System is a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006) having campuses across the United Kingdom which includes Birmingham, Manchester, London, Bradford, Leicester campus, is looking for a Business Lecturer with HE experience based in the Bradford campus.

Taught programmes, ranging from Foundation Year through to Level 7, delivered in partnership with institutions such as Leeds Trinity University. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have successfully completed their learning journey in the last five years with the current student population is over 3000.

**Reports to**: Academic Manager

**Purpose**

Scholars School System is seeking to appoint a _**Business Lecturer with HE experiences **_who can deliver interactive lessons and provide academic support to our students. You should also achieve targets set, be capable of engaging learners towards a successful completion of the course as well as supporting students with their progression to learn. The role will require you to sustain change management and liaise with the Programme Manager, Deputy Academic Manager and Academic Officers.

**Responsibilities**
- All aspects of planning, delivering and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met.
- To actively be involved in staff development activities and peer observations.
- Develop, update and improve course materials as appropriate.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- A teaching qualification or adequate teaching experience, with an understanding of lesson planning and scaffolded teaching.
- UK teaching experience (Minimum one-year experience)
- Experience in HE Business courses.
- Enthusiasm for delivering a high-quality education experience
- Experience supervising student work, providing support and feedback and ensuring student engagement.

**Salary and Benefits**
- £26,000-£30,000per year depending on experience
- Basic hours are 9am to 6pm on site
- Holiday entitlement is 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Up to £5k annual incentives pro-rata given quarterly on meeting KPIs upon successful probation period
- 3% annual increase per year on completion from your start date of service and on meeting KPIs
