The post holder will join the senior leadership team within the Acute Care Directorate and will work closely with the Pathway Lead Nurse/ ODP and the Lead Clinicians for theatres and Anaesthesia.

**Main duties of the job**:
The Matron - (theatres and recovery ) will be a key role in the continued development of our theatre services and in transforming the experience of our patients. This role is heavily focused on supporting our clinical teams to give the safest quality care for patients within the theatre environment. This role will provide visible and dynamic leadership for our teams to deliver continued improvements.

You will have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire and are you looking for an opportunity to develop and further and gain valuable leadership experience.

As a leader in talent management you will have the clinical experience and ability to develop new services, provide a clear vision for our teams and enable them to achieve their full potential. **Working for our organisation**:
Working predominantly at City campus theatres but with the ability to be flexible and work cross site. Clinical Support provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed nurse/ ODP to support the Trust in the delivery of quality patient care.

**Detailed job description and main responsibilities**:
We wish to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual to take on the challenging role of Matron within the Clinical Support Division. **Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
