**The Vacancy**
We are looking for an Admin Assistant to join our Premises team that is passionate about providing excellent customer service to both internal colleagues and our network of external suppliers and contractors.
**The role**
Working within the Shared Services function and specifically within the Premises team, a key requirement of the role is to provide high standards of administrative support, ensuring clear communication with internal/external stakeholders and continuous adherence to our documented operational procedures and controls.
The role holder will be integral to the smooth running and organisation of our maintenance team, which provides support to all Cumberland Properties.
**About you**
- A willingness to learn property processes, procedures and policies.
- A high level of attention to detail specifically with the recording and reconciling of premises department budgets.
- The ability to multitask conflicting priorities without losing focus.
- A structured and logical approach to problem solving and decision making
- A natural curiosity to challenge existing processes with the confidence to table all possible solutions.
- The ability to work effectively and to continually learn, and to understand where and how improvements can be made.
- The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships, both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication, numeracy, and presentation skills (verbal and written)
- The ability to identify and effectively manage risks and issues
- Competent using Microsoft Office Suite (inc. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
This position is part time 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday. 5 hours per day. Core hours will be between 9.00 a.m. and 5 p.m. There will be a requirement to provide cover when required between 7.00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
**Location**
This role will be predominantly based at our Head Office although our aim is to keep a great balance which we have achieved recently with hybrid working.
