Groomer

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, and styling of various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, providing appropriate recommendations for care.
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming.
- Handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Assist in managing appointments and maintaining customer records to ensure excellent customer service.

**Skills**
- Previous veterinary experience is highly desirable, providing insight into animal health and behaviour.
- Strong animal care skills, with the ability to handle various breeds safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for pet owners.
- Capability for heavy lifting, as some pets may require assistance during grooming sessions.
