**Account Assistant**

**Full Time/Part Time, Permanent, salary negotiable on experience**

Robustrack is a busy and growing family run business that distributes excavators and hydraulic attachments, imported from Europe and delivered throughout the UK and worldwide. Due to a recent restructure within our finance department and appointment of a Financial Director, a role for an Accounts Assistant has been created.

The Accounts Assistant will deal with the day to day running of the accounts within our fast-paced office.

Previous experience is essential, and it is important that you are able to pick up and understand new systems and processes quickly.

You will be using accounting and CRM software along with MS Office.

The role will include, but not be limited to the following duties:

- Data Entry of Bills and Receipts
- Payments and accounts management
- Purchase Ordering & Receipting of Stock
- Adding new stock products to QuickBooks
- Debtor management
- Cash Flow Monitoring
- Creditor reconciliation
- Bank reconciliation
- Payroll Processing and PAYE
- Recording holidays
- Liaising with external finance entities
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- VAT returns
- Undertake general administrative duties and provide support to the office
- Filing & keeping records in good order
- Liaising with the Company Accountants and Finance Director

**Person Specification**:

- Demonstrates the company’s core values and acts with professionalism at all times
- Understands the attributes required to work within a family run business as part of a busy, small team
- Is flexible and willing to support others when and where necessary
- Possesses knowledge of general accountancy practices, GDPR and handling of confidential information
- Can liaise with clients and suppliers, maintaining good relationships through strong verbal and written communication
- Works well in a team but also on their own initiative
- Shows attention to detail and has strong analytical skills
- Is organised and adaptable, with effective time management skills

We require someone who has:

- Bookkeeping/accounts experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good standard of English & Maths
- Knowledge of and experience with Quickbooks or equivalent
