**Cloud Architect - London (Hybrid) - Up to £105,000 (+ Up to £150,000 Package)**

We are working with a global player in the insurance industry that is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to join their IT Engineering Infrastructure team and help shape the future of their cloud function. This is a brand-new role in an exciting timefor the company as they build their Cloud Centre of Excellence and work on large scale enterprise projects.

As a Cloud Architect you will be a leading member of the cloud team, reporting to the Head of Cloud, and will manage other cloud architects and engineers in your team.

This Cloud Architect position is remote - with occasional travel once or twice a month to the London site.

**Key responsibilities for the Cloud Architect**:

- Dictating the roadmap and deadlines for projects, and help define budget projections for the development and implementation of AWS and Azure cloud solutions
- You will collaborate with external providers to understand business strategy and requirements within the AWS and Azure cloud architecture function
- Engaging with stakeholders of all levels, both technical and non-technical and providing guidance for a team of AWS and Azure cloud architects and engineers

**Essential experience for the Cloud Architect**
- Have led the design & implementation of AWS and Azure cloud projects for a variety of products and services
- Have a significant history of working in large-scale AWS and Azure cloud architecture projects as well as on-premise technologies
- Demonstrate experience of developing and implementing enterprise projects in AWS and Azure cloud
- Have a proven track record of managing and delivering multiple platform AWS and Azure cloud solutions at enterprise level
