- Experience working in a risk related role, experience working in a trading environment would also be beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Relevant risk qualifications are desirable
- Strong MS office reporting/data manipulation skills
- The ability to build strong working relationships with a varied level of management across the business
- Comfortable in communicating at every level, acting with authority as situations require but from an informed position to get the best outcome
- Work using own initiative and having strong problem-solving abilities
- Know where to challenge processes and procedures to get constant improvement
- Able to manage a busy workload through good time management and delegating appropriately whilst providing the relevant support

**The role - Key responsibilities**
- Support the governance and oversight of trading activity
- Preparation of insightful risk reporting to relevant parties
- Support of regulated exchange compliance activities
- Documentation of reporting protocols and processes to ensure integrity and reduce key person dependencies
- Demonstration of accuracy of market valuations (with reference to external sources)
- Supporting development of business systems to ensure key controls are adhered to
- To support Group Compliance in its objective to ensure that the business has systems and processes of internal control that adequately measure and manage the risks that it faces
