A financially secure multi-discipline property and construction consultancy are currently looking to strengthen its team with an experienced **Sustainability/BREEAM Consultant** in **Leeds**.

You would join a fantastic team of 750+ professionals working on projects worldwide, from 13 locations across the UK. Sustainability is central to their philosophy and has been an integral part of their story from the very beginning. They provide a range of sustainability services direct to client organisations, external consultant teams, contractors, as well as their own multi-disciplinary project teams.

The main responsibilities of this Sustainability/BREEAM Consultant role:

- You will be involved in developing, governing and delivering sustainability strategies from inception, through to hand over for buildings and property portfolios;
- You will specialise in sustainable appraisals, carbon modelling and climate change;
- You will play a key part in the continued growth of the team that spans a variety of sectors including (but not limited to): schools, university buildings, offices, industrial units, hotels, leisure centres and hospitals;
- You will also have the opportunity to develop your own clients and workstreams and be involved in preparing fee proposals.

Key skills and experience we'd like you to have:

- Strong knowledge of BREEAM and other similar sustainability assessment methodologies (SKA, DREAM, WELL, HQM) is essential
- A good understanding of Building Regulation Part L
- Able to produce concise verbal and written reports to a good standard of English
- Knowledge of renewable and LZCT options
- Experience with planning support documents (NRIAs, London Plan etc.)
- A full driving licence
