Due to continued growth and significant new contracts, we are looking for experienced Toolroom Machinists to join our team on a permanent basis during a very exciting period of growth.
**Location**:Church**, **Accrington, BB5 4EF
**Hours**:Basic of 36 hours per week (alternate week shift pattern)
- Mon - Thu 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Fri 6:00 am - 12:00 pm
- Mon - Thu 2:00pm - 11:30 pm
***Salary**:£14.23 per hour (based on a 36-hour week), plus shift allowance of £81.00 per week.
Overtime is paid at the following rates:
- All hours in excess of 36 hours per week but less than 46 per week: 1.5 x ordinary hourly rate
- Hours in excess of 46 hours per week: 2 x ordinary hourly rate

**Holidays**:244 hours (equivalent to 30.5 days) per annum
***To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:
- Experience of working in precision machining environment
- Experience of operating manual grinding machines.
- Ability to set and operate EDM wire eroders would be an advantage
- Experience of CNC grinding machines would be an advantage
- Ability to read/understand and interpret Engineering Drawings..
- Have high levels of concentration and focus to achieve production targets and scheduled customer deadlines.
- Be able to follow written works instructions, safe working practices and always maintain a safe and tidy work area.
- Ability to monitor your own Quality and Productivity with a continuous improvement mind set.
- To help and be proactive for the continual improvement of processes.
- Report any issues (i.e. quality/safety/machine) to your Line Manager/Supervisor.
