**Lead Generator**

NFU Energy is the go-to energy consultant for agriculture and related industries, providing advice on all aspects of energy, from procuring energy contracts to sourcing and recommending energy solutions. We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Generator to join our busy and growing sales teams. You will be responsible for growing the sales pipeline for both energy contracts and technical consultancy. An energy related background and the ability to pick up technical terms would be distinct advantage to your success in this role. You will be keen to understand our core client base and have the ability to identify their requirements.

**Your role and responsibilities will include**:

- Proactively make outbound calls and convert into leads for the sales team
- Establish good working relationships with the sales teams and our suppliers and partners
- Contribute to growth strategy and marketing campaigns
- Understand and recognise opportunities by developing a good understanding of our customer base.

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:

- A proactive, positive attitude and a desire to succeed
- Excellent communication and rapport building skills
- Experience in managing high-volume outbound calls

**You will also need to**:

- Be organised and able to plan and prioritise your workloads to optimum effect
- Have the ability to work under your own initiative to achieve team objectives
- Be able to resolve unexpected issues that may impact on service standard

In return you will receive a salary of £22,000 to £24,000, depending on experience, 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), plus company benefits including pension, group life assurance (3 times salary), NFU membership and more**. **You will be based at our office in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We support work-life balance and operate a hybrid working policy with a mixture of home and office working available, and access to mental health support. Situated at the National Agriculture Exhibition Centre in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, our recently refurbished office provides a perfect setting to work from. On site facilities include a Gym, Farm Shop, Nursery and free parking as well as ample walking and cycling opportunities.
