**BOOKKEEPER**

**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Bookkeeper. This is a highly varied role that will involve providing support and assistance to the Finance Manager.

We are looking for a proactive individual with a hands-on approach who will show initiative to get tasks done. You need to be meticulous in your attention to detail, methodical and process driven.

**Responsibilities**

Providing day-to-day financial support to the company, the key responsibilities include:

- Processing supplier invoices and credit notes to the accounting system
- Credit Control administration
- Petty cash management
- Assisting with supplier payments, including checking statements and invoice queries
- Supporting processing the staff expenses
- Working as a team player within the accounts department, adherence to deadlines and supporting the month-end process
- Be methodical and accurate with good attention to detail
- Demonstrate focus, initiative, logic and a methodical approach to solving problems
- Be a competent IT user
- Be organised, a quick learner, and comfortable working in a team
- Be over 18 given we are a business that manufactures and sells alcohol

**Essential experience and qualifications include**:
Proficiency in using Xero accounting software essential, knowledge of Unleashed preferable.

**Hours**: Minimum 16 hours per week, 9am-5:30pm and the position is based in Kingsbridge.

**Reporting to**: Finance Manager

**Location**: Kingsbridge, Devon
