**About the role**:
Our client is a reputable company in Chorley, known for delivering top-notch healthcare services to the local community. With a focus on excellence and patient well-being, the centre is staffed by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to providing comprehensive medical care. **Shift Pattern**:
Monday - Friday between the hours of 17:30 - 19:30, a total of 10 hours per week.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Thoroughly disinfect and sanitise surfaces and rooms.
- Clean and sanitise public areas like waiting rooms, restrooms, and corridors.
- Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in private and public areas.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional.
- Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
- Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.
- Collaborate with cleaning and medical staff for a clean environment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
