A core service LSH provides is in the area of public sector consultancy which sits as part of our PR+I super department. For our clients we undertake estate and property management activities as well as provide wider development consultancy and strategic advice as well as agency and valuation services

For this position we have been specifically engaged to provide portfolio management; as part of this we cover the following:

- **Lease advisory -** lease renewals, rent reviews of a diverse portfolio to ensure rental growth and good tenant mix as means of generating revenue for the Council.
- **Focused property management -** to minimise voids, exposure to empty rates and unrecoverable expenditure.
- **Strategic solutions -** encompassing innovative estate management initiatives to promote income growth and vibrant communities. Our approach includes exploring savings within operational portfolios.
- **Disposal strategies** - designed to align with council objectives and optimise capital receipts. These have involved public and private partnership and wider community engagement.

**This opportunity**:
Lambert Smith Hampton are currently working with a number of Councils in the east to provide the full suite of surveying services. As such the firm are looking for a Graduate Surveyor to assist a Chartered Surveyor in the development and implementation of an estate strategy with associated work activities.

The position would be based out of our Chelmsford office working with the wider Public Sector and PR+I team and would involve working across both Essex and Suffolk
