**Deputy Head Housekeeper**

**Full Time - 40 hours per week**

**Salary of £27,500 per annum (plus service charge of up to £400 each quarter)**

Constantly developing we boast Swinton Park, a luxury traditional castle hotel with 42 bedrooms, two holiday cottages and award winning Samuel’s Restaurant; a luxurious country club and spa including the contemporary Terrace Restaurant; Swinton Bivouac a glamping site with tree lodges, yurts and café, and last but by no means least the Swinton cookery school.

Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, responsible for Room Attendants and Laundry Assistants.

Main responsibilities_**
- Oversee and supervise all aspects of Housekeeping operations covering Hotel, Country Club, Spa, Laundry and Bivouac.
- Establish and maintain effective employee relations.
- Assist with communication meetings.
- Ensure members of the housekeeping team are familiar with in-house facilities for the purpose of assisting guests.
- Ensure initial and on-going training is conducted with all housekeeping team to maintain standards.
- Ensure all housekeeping team members adhere to the Swinton grooming standards.
- Control housekeeping procedures including lost property, emergency procedures and health and safety for the team and guests.
- Ensure that any potential and real hazards are reported appropriately and immediately.
- Work in a safe manner that does not harm or injure yourself or others.
- Maintain own working area, keeping materials clean, tidy and in good shape and report any defective materials and equipment.
