**Job Overview**

Housekeeper for Fernleaf care home

**Duties**
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, adhering to established cleanliness standards.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products in guest rooms and communal areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Occasionally assist with cooking tasks when required, ensuring food hygiene standards are met.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping within a hotel environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated time frames.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.

Cleaning hours

Monday 6.5 hours 7am-1.30pm

Tuesday 6.5 hours 7am - 1.30pm

Thursday 5.5 hours - 8am - 1.30pm

Saturday 3 hours - 8am - 1.30pm

Sunday 5.5 hours - 8am-1.30pm.

Monday and Tuesday are a double up day with the head house Keeper

Saturday and Sunday are every other week.

You must be able to cover the week the other cleaner is off and cover sickness as well.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From £11.44 per hour
