Role: Nursery Room Leader

Area: Maidenhead

**Salary**: Up to £27000

A Nursery in Maidenhead are looking for a Room Leader to join them as soon as possible.

This is to work as a Nursery Room Leader and Key-person and as part of the Nursery staff team under the direction of the Manager to provide safe, stimulating and varied programmes of play and high quality education and care for young children from 0-5 years of age.

For this role you must hold a minimum of a level 3 childcare qualification and have recent experience in an Early Years setting.

The Role;
- To support and guide staff
- Creating and maintaining a stimulating, challenging and child-centred environment
- To assist with the planning, preparation and implementation of the EYFS
- To provide a high standard of observations, record-keeping and understanding of your key children’s development and learning journeys
- To fully engage with and support good team working
- To liaise with and support parents, carers and other family members and form professional parent partnerships, sharing their children’s developmental and learning journey.
- To lead where appropriate and share knowledge and practical experience with all colleagues, particularly with understanding and implementing the Nursery policies and procedures, EYFS curriculum, training courses, best practice etc.
- To work alongside the Management Team and colleagues to ensure that the nursery’s philosophy and standards are fulfilled.
- To support the Manager/Deputy Manager in office administration duties.
- To plan appropriate play and learning experiences based on the children’s interests and needs
- To regularly assess and record children’s individual needs and developmental progress.
- To attend staff /planning meetings when required and participate in Supervision/Appraisals.
