Dates Required: Training: 19/20 November 2024, Live dates: 21st November 2024 - 5th January 2025 (excluding Christmas Day)

Daily Hours: Full time 42hrs/week and part time contracts 16-24hrs/week available

Shift timings between 9:30am - 10:30pm

Rate of pay: Rates of pay start at £12/hr

Closing date: Sunday 20th October 2024

**Job Summary**

Dundee's Christmas is launching for the first time in 2024 with a new operator NL Productions in partnership with Dundee City Council in Dundee City Square for 6 weeks this festive period.

We want to hear from enthusiastic and energetic individuals to help us deliver this amazing event.

We are looking for event hosts who enjoy engaging with people and delivering a high-level of customer service with an understanding of the individual needs of visitors. This will be a varied role working across the skate hire, catering stalls and providing customer service across the site so applicants must be happy spending time outside in winter weather (uniform will be provided). We are also looking for ice monitors to help keep our customers safe on the ice and fully qualifies first aiders to operate our first aid cabin.

With a strong reputation for innovation and excellence, we have been trusted with some of the most prestigious events in Scotland, including the Enchanted Forest in Perthshire, Castle of Light at Edinburgh Castle and both Edinburgh Zoo’s Christmas Nights and Halloween Spooktacular.

**Duties**

1. Providing a warm and friendly welcome for all visitors

2. Providing excellent customer service and assisting visitors as required

3. Assisting with the set-up of the event and preparing the site for visitors

4. Undertaking duties as directed by the Duty Manager

**Skills and Experience**

Required

1. Enthusiastic and energetic personality

2. Experience of deliver high levels of customer service

3. Availability on the dates and times required

Desirable

4. Experience in a visitor attraction/events/customer service role

5. First Aid qualification

6. Food Hygiene Training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Graduate
