**Role Summary**: Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible with the organising and control of the goods received area by obtaining goods from external delivery partners, but also assisting with the management and coordination of stock levels. Your role will be to always ensure the delivery of excellent customer service to internal employees as well as external suppliers by dealing with queries relating to the products and services supplied by the Company either face to face or over the telephone. To be successful in this role you will need to have attention to detail, good relationship building skills, strong communication skills and have initiative.
- Receive and unpack goods from external delivery partners. Validate delivery and distribute to workshop, stores or elsewhere as necessary.
- Pack, label, and despatch goods to external delivery partners.
- Monitor stores to ensure minimum stock levels are available for all goods lines.
- Prepare (‘pick’) products from stores for off -site or workshop requirements.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers as recording stock data
- Keep and maintain necessary records using stock management system.
- Support Purchasing Department with annual stock take.
- Ensure to always keep goods safe and appropriately secure within the workshop environment and provide recommendations on how to improve the store environment
- Operate and keep up to date all systems of filing and recording as required by company procedures and as necessary to efficiently carry out the “Primary Objective”.
- Work closely with others within Purchasing department to ensure all duties are met.
- Have clear and efficient communication skills, both written and spoken, with all clients, supplier and colleagues with whom you have contact.
- Proactively maintain clean and tidy goods in/out and stores areas.
- Carry out other tasks as directed by management.

**Key Skills**
- Attention to detail (for stock control)
- A team player-capable of working alone or with other team staff
- Have suitable level of physical fitness to carry out all duties.
- Have the required level of computer skills in MS Office software.

**Experience**
- Familiarity of working in a stock related role (retail, warehouse environment etc) - desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

Schedule:
