**Production Co-Ordinator**
A leading manufacturer within the perimeter security product industry, Ultimation Direct are a privately-owned business where individuals’ contributions have an impact on the overall success of the Company. Due to continued success and expansion, we are now looking to expand our production team.
**Job Summary**:
To undertake work in connection with the organisation and co-ordination of in-house production scheduling, including the fabrication, finishing, assembly and dispatch of our full product range.
**Main Duties**:
Transport Scheduling:
- Booking hauliers for delivery of products to site.
- Liaising with client to ensure that access is adequate for delivery vehicles and on-site timing is agreed (with any additional costs for waiting time agreed).
- Communication with the haulier to obtain lifting plans and other client requested documentation.
Spares and Repairs:
- Process daily spares orders.
- Plan into production or liaise with stores department to achieve provided lead times.
- Always maintain clear communication to customers.
- Courier labels / delivery notes for all spares items.
- Manage the full process of a spares item from start to finish to ensure a smooth operation.
- Liaise with purchasing department to order in parts required.
- Reporting on targets and costs. Participation in budget preparation.
Production scheduling:
- Schedule in product orders into production via the online fabrication, assembly and finishing systems in the aim to achieve the overall monthly targets set by General Manager.
- Liase weekly with fabrication shop manager to ensure steel and gas ordered on schedule.
- Keep information on production systems up to date with latest approved documentation.
- Update customers weekly on progress of orders to ensure dates are kept to.
- Work alongside the design team to keep track of weekly drawing approvals.
Other Tasks:
- Keep ‘Monday’ system up to date daily to ensure all tasks on schedule.
- Working with other departments within the company to assist with the smooth completion of projects.
- To work additional hours when circumstances dictate.
- To respect the need for confidentiality, when processing personal/customer data.
- Other such duties as may be required from time to time.
- Strong interpersonal and a client liaison skill.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and administrative skills and experience (Word/Excel/Outlook/Sage)
- Team Player that is keen to progress.
- Self-disciplined.
- Proactive, professional individual and a flexible approach to the needs of the company.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
