**Design Coordinator - Waltham Forest - Modular Developer**
Career-orientated design coordinator / assistant or an architectural professional needed who is looking to transition to work for an established and modern property development contractor. It is a £100 mil residential development and you will be working and learning from one of the best Senior Design Managers, clear career progression and incredible learning and development opportunities available for the the right person
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting the Design team in the delivery and overall design management
- Running project trackers and ensuring project milestones are hit.
- Maintain drawing registers and schedules.
- Management of any information exchange including monitoring deliverables by external consultants or sub-contractors
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of the design
- Lead sample submissions & client approvals, ensuring time frames are met.
- Assist with preparing reports in the necessary format as required.
- Active involvement in the design team meetings, taking notes and tracking actions.
- Assist with managing sub-contractors, ensuring their design is produced on time and in accordance with requirements.
- Track and monitor status of comments from design teams/ sub-contractors and manage responses.
The Design Coordiantor will be mentored by a Senior Design Manager and be fully supported with training.
**Skills & background**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or relevant degree that demonstrates an understanding of the design construction process
- 2+ years minimum working experience within residential sector
- Understanding of the design process
- Project and design programming skills
- Excellent communication skills are vital
- Commercial awareness
**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
