You will join an organisation as it's first HR Director for an employee base of over 500.

You will be joining a highly successful organisation within the Healthcare / Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sector.

Based close to Slough, our client is a highly successful organisation within the Healthcare / Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sector.

**Description**

As HR Director for this organisation of over 500 in the Healthcare / Pharmaceutical and Life sciences sector you will:

- Sit on the SLT and partner the Exec Team
- Manage the HR team
- Focus on the key areas including recruitment and retention and the embedding of HR process and policies across the organisation. There will be some focus on medical and nursing employees.
- Build a strong company culture, establish the direction of travel for the HR department and develop and implement HR initiatives that are in line with a company's objectives.
- Build a collaborative environment which encourages team members to take a proactive approach to their employment duties and promotes sharing of best practice.
- Develop your team to ensure all stakeholders have positive interactions with HR regardless of the team member they deal with.

You will need to be available to travel to different locations and will ideally be local to their offices that are close to Slough / Uxbridge area.

**Profile**

You will ideally have worked in a company that is more commercial in the way it works and potentially founder led or private equity backed.

In addition our client would like to see the following experience:

- A minimum of 5 year's experience in a HR leadership position.
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Management (Masters Degree would be preferable but not essential).
- Strong strategic skills and the ability to act as a visionary for the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labour laws and HR practices.
- Strong leadership qualities to lead an HR team and fulfil an executive function.
