The School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences is seeking to recruit a new full time, open ended Finance Business Support Coordinator.

**The Opportunity**:
The post holder will have overall responsibility of finance business management support within the school, ensuring that processes and team operations follow University policy and are conducted in an efficient manner.

The role will provide direct support to all users of school financial services, including external stakeholders, leading to a varied role where the ability to communicate effectively with variety of people on specialised processes is key.

The post holder will line manager other finance team members and also work closely with school management to align local procedures with evolving requirements across the university, both process and system lead.

The post holder will actively support and contribute to the schools success and will be encouraged to also deliver ideas for continuous improvement opportunities as they arise.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- HNC/HND or equivalent level qualifications plus relevant work experience or broad relevant experience acquired through training and on-the-job experience, demonstrating development through progressively more demanding relevant work/roles.
- A proven background in and understanding of customer service delivery in a fast paced finance related function.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and experience in using finance systems as well as SharePoint (similar file sharing tool).
- Evidence of the ability and willingness to improve own knowledge base quickly under own initiative.
- Previous knowledge of University financial systems processes and policies would be highly advantageous.
