Procurement Specialist Hybrid working Early finish on a Friday Paying up to £45,000 + Benefits Are you a procurement specialist who loves to get involved with the development of contracts with suppliers and enjoys a varied and challenging role? Do you love the legal aspect of the role and negotiation with suppliers to secure the value of supply? If so,Pertemps have a fantastic opportunity for a procurement specialist to join this leading manufacturing company in Birmingham As a procurement specialist you'll be using high yield techniques such as e-auction, supplier summits, gain negotiation and tenders. You'll be working along end users to register DI Savings into the system through constant supplier benchmarking, arranging sitetrials to identify possible alternatives goods or sources. Contract management, KPIs and renewal negotiation will be your forte and you'll develop strategies to process enhanced like improving requisition procedure, inventory and PQQ management to allow thedepartment focus on core competence and value-added. Reporting to the Head of Procurement your role will include: " Negotiate with suppliers using a number of different negotiation techniques " Taking part in individual supplier meetings, e-auctions and supplier summits " Manage and benchmark existing suppliers, work with site/maintenance engineers to identify possible alternative products, sources of supply and arrange site trials. " Ensure contracts, NDA's are in place for all suppliers and negotiate renewals " Ensure all agreements have legal approval " Work on cost-saving initiatives and manage savings database to record all data " Complete the monthly self-assessment ASAT tool in conjunction with Procurement Manager " Attend daily meetings with suppliers, Engineers and SPA's " Negotiate T&C's between suppliers and internal legal team, and assist the team to solve finance and requisitions queries. Paying an attractive salary of up to £45k you'll be working Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday with Hybrid working available.
