Purpose of the Role

The core duties of a Returns Associate include receiving, unpacking, sorting and recording devices that have been returned through various channels. They will also be responsible for identifying the disposition of returned items using the RL database and ensuring that the parts are routed to the correct areas. Additionally, the Returns Associate will also assist with the preparation of returned goods for subsequent outbound shipments to other Garmin facilities

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Processing physical returns efficiently and accurately to ensure a fast turnaround of goods which will enable RMAs to be closed in a timely manner
- Receiving inbound physical returns into Reverse Logistics and routing to the correct area
- Unpacking, organizing and consolidating physical returns in preparation for further processing
- Scanning/logging returned devices and determining the correct disposition
- Preparing outbound goods for intercompany return to other Garmin facilities
- Processing Tacx exchanges and credits
- Managing WEEE waste and recycling
- Effective credit, service exchange and repair administration to ensure RMAs are processed in the system quickly and accurately
- Processing and service exchange RMAs and repair RMAs in the systems
- Processing and receipting credit RMAs in the system
- Warranty diagnosis and basic repairs - SW updates and cosmetic
- Maintaining regular communication with other departments and offices to ensure RMAs are processed quickly and efficiently
- Investigating and resolving pricing/credit discrepancies
- Any other tasks assigned by the Returns Supervisor

Education & Experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic IT competencies

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,167.52 per year
