Plant and Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic, or Agricultural / Plant Engineer, to join our team.

This role requires hands-on experience with both electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the willingness to take on the service and repair of a wide range of equipment.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Assemble and disassemble machinery and equipment as required.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and carry out necessary repairs.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
- Perform soldering and welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools.

**Qualifications**
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to effectively organise your own workload.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
