We are looking for multiple PSA's to join our team supporting a 36 year old autistic and learning-disabled man, both within his home and garden, and in his activities in the community.

The client is physically fit. Activities outside his home represent the core of his daily routine. He will occasionally present with the behaviours which can characterise his disabilities.

Qualifications and experience

Experience of working with adults who have a learning disability, autism and challenging behaviour would be an advantage, but this is not essential since full training will be provided.

Most importantly, the successful applicant will
- be a team player with a good sense of humour
- have a kind and caring nature
- have excellent communication skills
- have a positive approach to disabled people and a willingness to learn
- have the ability to use their initiative, to prioritise tasks and to remain calm and focused in all situations
- have a flexible approach to shifts

We encourage all staff to complete an NVQ in Health and Social Care.

**Pay and conditions**

The salary is £13.50 per hour, sleeping nights are paid at £60.00 per night.

Annual holiday entitlement for full time staff is 5.6 working weeks.

We operate a 14-day rota and shifts available are days, evenings, weekends and sleeping nights.
