Warehouse Operative

**Overview**

The primary purpose of the role is to manage and drive warehouse efficiency and accuracy within the warehouse and provide a reliable service to the business. You will be accountable for the full warehouse operation. Additional responsibilities include goods in and goods out, asset management within in house systems as well as use of internal communication systems to provide excellent internal customer service.

Main responsibilities will include but not limited too; the day to day stock management of warehousing facilities, the coordination of stock, management of goods in and out, delivery of goods to clients.

This is a key position at ADXBA (T/A Astra Group) and carries with it a responsibility to maintain our reputation with new and existing clients.

**Main Role Responsibilities**
- Day-to-day
- Packing and distribution as per business requirements
- Management of stock levels, inventory and movement of stock
- Delivery of goods
- Management of good-in/ Out
- Forklift Truck operation as required
- Support the wider teams with returning faulty equipment
- Unloading and loading of vehicles to support delivery/ dispatch
- Support the Warehouse Manager with Fleet Management
- Complete Stock Take as and when required by the business
- Managing and arranging RMA
- Health and Safety
- Carry out and record daily/weekly/monthly maintenance and safety checks of the forklift truck
- Liaise directly with external engineers to solve any issues with the machines and organise engineer visits to rectify problems
- Operate in accordance to the provided RAMs and complete Dynamic Risk assessments as and when required
- Complete regular Warehouse safety audits and work with the HSEQ Manager and Warehouse Manager to rectify any Non Conformances
- Management of warehouse COSHH products

**Other Responsibilities**
- Work as part of the assembly team as required to support short deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Competent IT knowledge (Inc Microsoft Office/Google products)
- Basic knowledge of electrical installations
- The ability to resolve and diagnose faults as they are encountered but understand when to refer to others for assistance

**Training & Qualifications Desirable**:

- IPAF PAL Licence - 1b, 3a and 3b minimum
- PASMA
- Forklift Truck License
- Working at Height
- Manual Handling
- Abrasive Wheels

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
