**Salary**: £13.50 per hour plus competitive benefits

**The Role**

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Shift Engineer with a background in Heavy industrial mechanical/electrical maintenance (preferably apprentice trained and multi-skilled, however consideration will be given to mechanical or electrical biased engineers)

**Responsibilities will include**:

- PPM's
- Fault finding and maintenance on modern processing equipment and plant
- Effecting timely and appropriate repairs and identifying solutions for long term asset reliability
- Completion of shift reports
- Completion of risk assessments and ensuring control measures are in place for both internal and external projects

**Ideally, you will possess experience in all or some of the following**:

- Fabrication and MIG welding experience essential, stick welding an advantage
- Previous fabrication experience of a variety of parts both small and large from drawing or own design as required
- Fabrication and installation of finished parts
- Hydraulics
- Production plant control technology including PLC and inverter-controlled systems (Siemens preferred)
- Industrial 3 phase experience (installation and repair)
- Electrical control systems with the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- City and Guilds 17th / 18th Edition

12 hour / 4 on 4 off continental day shift to start but must be prepared to rotate between days and nights.
