Our Fund Solutions area of the business, which operates out of multiple Link locations including Leeds, London, Dublin and Luxembourg, with £80bn of assets and circa 500 people, is looking for a Product Governance Associate in the London office.
As part of Product Governance team reporting into the Senior Associate, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of the production of individual Value Assessment Reports for our range of UK domiciled funds.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Manage relationships with internal departments to obtain and challenge quality of service information
- Understanding of Operational aspects of Fund Servicing desirable
- Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers
- Extract data from external vendors
- Develop and maintain a series of standard reports to produce the data required for value assessment purposes
- Analyse assessment data from internal and external providers
- Develop a strong understanding of LFS’ client base and product range
- Manipulate data and complete comparisons to defined industry sectors / benchmarks / peer groups
- Understanding of fund management, including analysis of fund performance and costs highly desirable
- Automate processes within Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word and Excel templates, macros, mail merge)
- Prepare initial draft value assessment reports for review by Product Governance Senior Associate prior to submission to the Value Assessment Working Group and Investment Managers.
- Prepare summary dashboards for discussion at senior committees (Value Assessment Committee / Risk committees)
- Update value assessment reports for submission based on feedback received from internal and external reviews
- Identify areas for improvement in both value assessment reports and the report drafting processes
**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience of data analysis

- An innovative outlook, with the ability to look for change and continuous improvement
- Ability to work to deadlines and to also be able to deal with a high-volume workload
- Good interpersonal skills are essential when liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of working in an FCA-regulated firm in the financial services industry
Desirable
- Project management experience
- Understanding of fund management, including analysis of fund performance and costs
