Maintenance Technician

**The Company**
Excellent opportunity for Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join a well-established manufacturing site based in Newton Aycliffe, investing heavily in new technology and machinery across site.
Working on a 3-shift pattern, with a competitive salary of circa £45,000 + overtime + benefits.
**The Role**
Maintenance Technician will be responsible for
- Working on a wide variety of manufacturing machinery and equipment
- PLC fault finding (Electrical)
- Highlighting inefficiencies in production process to support continuous improvement activities
- Generating practical engineering solutions to issues with machines on site
- Proactively attending breakdowns and reactive maintenance
- Completing PPMs in a timely manner
**Person Specification**
The Maintenance Technician will have the following attributes
- Completed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship
- Ideally have a ONC/ HNC or above in an engineering discipline
- Highly motivated to develop skills and experience within manufacturing
- Proactive approach to work
- Strong communication skills, working effectively within a team
- Continuous improvement mindset
This is an excellent opportunity to move into a role with training and develop as a priority for Maintenance Technicians.
