**Interior Designer**

**Are you an Interior Designer who would love to work with schools creating inspiring and engaging spaces for their pupils?**

We are looking for a creative, initiative and confident Interior designer with good attention to detail to join our thriving team.

Although the role is primarily that of a designer, this is a sales focused role. You will work with prospective customers across the UK, to design exciting and innovative classrooms, libraries and reading areas from the conceptual design phase, using the products featured in our Peters furniture range, through to producing the finished drawings using CAD software.

You will have good commercial awareness, and the vision to anticipate and satisfy customer needs.

A formal relevant design qualification is required, and a minimum of one years’ experience of furniture/interior design.

The successful applicant will need:

- To be a confident and commercially astute designer.
- To be competent with SketchUp, InDesign, Rendering software and Microsoft Office.
- Have excellent creative and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to engage and communicate with customers professionally at all levels.
- A proven ability to prioritise projects and tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- To be results driven, with strong customer focus.
- A high degree of self-motivation.

This role is a full-time role; however, term-time only would be considered. The role will need to be based in our central Birmingham offices a minimum of 1 day per week; however, travel is an essential part of this role and the confidence to drive to various parts of the country is essential. The role will on average be travelling 2-3 days per week.

**A full, clean driving licence is required. A company pool car is provided for customer visits.**

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
