As a registered supplier to the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Trust Framework, Direct Medics are working with Psychology qualified Support Workers and Behavioural Therapists throughout the UK & Ireland to help them find new and exciting opportunities here in Northern Ireland.

As such, we are now recruiting for Band 3 and Band 5 Support Workers with a qualification in psychology, for ad hoc shifts as well as block bookings working for the Belfast Trust. This is a Supported Living based Locum role for 6 months initially with possibility of extension. 37.5 hours per week, various shifts available.

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to be in possession of a satisfactory enhanced Access NI disclosure and Fit to Work certificate, which Direct Medics will supply for you free of charge.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Psychology
- Have at least 500 hours (Band 3) or 1000 hours (Band 5) paid experience in a Support Worker role, supporting individuals with learning difficulties & challenging behaviour.
- Full Current Driving License
- Right to Work in the UK

**Desirable Criteria**:

- NISCC Registration
- Safety Intervention Training (However this can be supplied through Direct Medics own Trainers if required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £12.51-£16.20 per hour
