SEN Teaching Assistant - The Grange Academy, Runcorn
The Supply Register are working in partnership with The Grange Academy in Runcorn to support them with their upcoming vacancies. They are currently looking to hire an SEN Teaching Assistant to support within their Resource Base located in their Secondaryprovision. This is initially a temporary role but could easily become a permanent position after a short period of time. The successful applicant will be supporting a small number of students of Secondary age who have been diagnosed with ASC (Autistic SpectrumCondition) and for that reason, the successful applicant will need to have previous experience of working with students with Autism.
**Responsibilities**:
- Working with the 'Resource Base' and supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest advice and information about Autism.
- Liaising with other TA's within the Resource Base to share best practice.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience supporting students with Autism is essential.
- Experience working with Secondary-aged students is desirable.
