**Warehouse Night Supervisor**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Night Supervisor to join our team based at our Heston site, TW5 9NS

**Purpose of the role**

The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Night Transport Manager and drivers through the shift and liaise with customers regarding any queries.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Administration tasks in relation to (not exhaustive):

- Customer manifest and delivery notes
- Vehicle check sheets
- Daily run orders
- Customer Bookings (when required)
- Any other general administration duties as required
- Maintaining customer spreadsheets communicating issues in a timely manner (when required)
- Warehouse housekeeping
- Cross training for Porter-assessor role and flexibility to cover as required
- Preparing daily run sheets and keys for drivers start of shift
- Downloading tacho information from vehicles
- Checking all vehicle pre checks and reporting any actions required to Night Manager
- Communicating with both internal and external customers, verbally and also written reports.
- Preparing cross dock stock for loading
- Supervising both loading and unloading throughout the shift
- Preparing days routes and stock checks
- Assessing routes and escalating any issues to Night Transport Manager
- Reporting any ad hoc route changes to Night Transport Manager
- Flexibility to cover operational duties for staff absence, which may include driving (van) for collections and deliveries

**Person specification**
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing)
- A good level of numeracy
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
- FLT License Holder (essential)
- Driving License Holder (essential)
- IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Driven and able to use initiative and organise own workload
- Creative approach to problem solving and to thinking ’outside the box’
- A flexible approach to work and the ability to work with changing demands (including shift patterns)

**Shift pattern**
- Sunday-Thursday between 20:00-04:30hrs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £15.50 per hour
