**What we do**:
The Global Fund Accounting Trade Capture Team is a dedicated team based in Manchester. The Team will be responsible for ensuring the timely processing of all Client and Fund Manager Instructions against intraday deadlines. There is approximately 36 staff splitover the 4 Trade Capture and Bank Loans, offering a range of roles from Administration Officer, Senior Administration Officer, Team Supervisor, and Section Manager through to Group Manager.
The Fund/Client Accounting Manager provides oversight for team of Accountants with the main task of ensuring that all trades either via Automated messaging (SWIFT) and/or client Trade instruction and the Trade reconciliation to client trade blotter takes placebetween Trade file Vs IO/SWIFT. Team reconciles the Excel client trade blotter to the Fund Accounting records.
Manage people and process and be engaged and be responsible for ensuring timely processing of all fund Manager instructions against intraday deadlines, adhering to structured business as usual requirements in accordance with the appropriate markets, Bank'sbest practices and departmental objectives in order to safeguard against any financial or reputational loss alongside providing high levels of quality service and minimising risks to the organisation.
**Essential Functions - Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Manages the performance of teams and sets area priorities.
- Manages multiple teams in determining the net asset value (NAV) for assigned funds for each measurement cycle.
- Manages relationships with assigned clients and resolves any escalated issues related to fund calculations and accounting.
- Directs and sets priorities for processes that check for the completeness and accuracy of disclosure in financial statements.
- Provides guidance to teams managed to ensure that accounting records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Resolves escalated issues from team members.
- Provides guidance to teams on implementation of new policies to follow regulations.
- Directs the drafting of financial reports for clients to review fund performance.
- Communicates reports and accounting intricacies to clients.
- Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
- Leads working relationships with auditors and clients to make changes to financial reports and ensure they accurately depict fund performance.
- Manages multiple small teams or one large team of Accountants.
- Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

**What we are looking for**:

- Minimum 5 years Corporate Trust or related financial markets/securities industry experience.
- Specifically: experience in Loans (syndicated, bi-lateral, real estate) very desirable.
- Solid understanding of the product(s) administered by the group and thorough understanding of risk management and control practices.
- Excellent leadership skills, ability to lead dynamic team.
- Ability to quickly address issues - strong decision making.
- Strong Financial Services Technical Skills.
- Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft packages particularly Excel.
