**Job Overview**
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, but rapidly growing Plastic Surgery company based in London.
This front of house role means you will be the first person to greet clients on arrival at the clinic. There is, therefore, a requirement for you to always be presentable, delivering impeccable 5* customer service. You will need to have outstanding customer service skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, practitioners and colleagues. Your role will ensure the smooth running of the clinic diaries and manage these with efficiency and a professional manner.
You will be working in a busy service environment which requires consistency in customer service and being able to work well under pressure.

**Duties**
- Meet and greet - to meet and greet clients and visitors with warmth, empathy and enthusiasm. Ensure the patient feels valued and comfortable throughout their visit.
- Answer inbound calls and direct call the to relevant department.
- Ensure that a high standard of presentation is upheld in the reception and patient waiting areas.
- Open up and ensure that the clinic is set up for the day before staff and patients arrive.
- Chaperone clinic visitors to the relevant department
- Confirm patients appointments
- Monitor the diary for incorrect bookings and ensure that patients are contacted in a timely manor if appointments need to be amended.
- Ensure that complaints are escalated to the manager
- Sundry duties to include sorting post, recording and unpacking of deliveries.
- Use own initative to manage day to day challenges and issues arising
- Undertake all required training and development required for the role and ensure it is updated accordingly.
- Stock take and management of products in reception area
**Qualifications**
- Previous front of house experience within a private surgical practice
- Excellent organisation skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous experience of using patient IT systems
- Able to work within the broad direction of and able to act without reference to the Managing Director or operational manager on routine matters.
- Able to be flexible in their duties, and able to meet the changing priorities and requirements of a growing organisation.
- Happy for company to carry out a CRB check prior to employment
**Other Requirements**
- Always ensure absolute confidentiality of medical information, not only in your own work but ensure that it is maintained by surgeons, locum/agency staff and all others personnel representing the company.
- To be alert to the requirements of the patients and to communicate any opportunities to develop new, or enhance existing, services.
- To be mindful of the objectives of the Company, as communicated by the senior management team.
- To attend meetings and to participate in social events (both team and business) where requested.
- To remain flexible and responsive to business demands, particularly in relation to working hours.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the senior management team.
- To ensure the accurate population of key fields in the patient database - e.g. referral source, procedure, medication
- Effective management of telephone calls. To exercise authority and tact in establishing purpose of calls and in deciding appropriate action.
- To establish a confident rapport with patients (both new and returning) in conversation and to understand their needs with a view to directing them to the most appropriate options for their needs.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: Up to £33,000.00 per year
