Nursery Administrator

Our beautiful nursery in Valentines Park, Ilford is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Childcare Nursery Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our nursery, providing administrative support to the management and childcare staff, and delivering excellent customer service to parents and guardians.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and nursery management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations and safeguarding policies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant qualification in administration, childcare, or business management is desirable.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage nursery admissions, registrations, and waiting lists.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children, staff, and nursery operations.
- Handle enquiries from parents and provide necessary information.
- Oversee financial administration, including invoicing, payments, and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
- Assist in the recruitment and on boarding process of nursery staff.
- Coordinate staff schedules, training, and professional development.
- Support nursery management with reports, policies, and procedures.
- Order and manage nursery supplies and equipment.
- Organise events, meetings, and communications for staff and parents
**Schedule**: Up to 24 hours per week
**Salary**: Starting from £12.5 per hour
