- Working Hours: 40 hrs Sunday to Thursday; 08:30-17:00

THE QC SUPERVISOR

This is a days-based role reporting to the QA Technologist. Key activities within the role are:

- To ensure products food safety and quality objectives are met at all times.
- To manage the work of the QA Team and ensure they are suitably trained to carry out their tasks.
- To ensure that all products and raw materials can be traced throughout the production process.
- To ensure that all the required control documents are in place for new products launches and to be in attendance at trial, pre-production runs and production runs.
- To conduct a weekly Hygiene and Food Safety Audit with the Hygiene Manager and Engineering Manager and report actions required to senior management. Action points raised must be monitored for completion.
- To conduct internal quality system audits.
- To attend customer and third party audits.
- To investigate complaints and report findings.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Ideally, we are looking for a Food Science or Food Technology graduate with some placement or relevant work experience in a Quality or Technical role within the Food Industry. On top of this you will also need:

- Supervisor experience
- Drive and tenacity to make a difference.
- Enjoys and takes pride in having the ownership of their role.
- A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
- Excellent computer skills
- HACCP experience
- Food Safety & Auditing experience
