General Catering Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic General Catering Assistant to join our team at one of our Independant Schools in Hull, HU3_._
We are a contract catering company that provides a fresh food service, serving seasonal and innovative food to a rosette standard for 500 pupils and staff daily.
We provide modern school dining including Breakfast and the occassional hospitality event.
**As our General Assistant, you will**:
- Have previous experience as a General Assistant and/or Barista roles
- General food preparation, cleaning, serving children and staff, washing up and accepting deliveries. The team work the job duties on a rota basis so all aspects of work in the kitchen are covered.
- Have a basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Have good customer service skills
- Be able to work in a high pressure environment
- Be organised and have excellent time keeping skills

This is a permanent position, working 15 hours per week, Term time only, Monday to Friday, 11:30am - 2:30pm.
Saturday availability on a rota basis during term time would be required. A degree of flexibility is required to cater to the needs of the business and the Site.
