Warehouse Team Leader

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operations Team Leader for our client based in Verwood. Our client's premises offer a spacious and welcoming environment to work in with on-site car parking and rest areas affording good kitchen facilities, showers andgames area.

This is very much a supporting role to help the Warehouse Manager in planning and organising the flow of workload in all areas of the warehouse together with managing all team members operating over a shift rotation.

This is a permanent position and the client operates Monday to Friday. The shift pattern operates from 2pm to 10pm.

You will need to be physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks, have a good understanding of warehouse management and distribution systems, be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, be a good communicator and able to leadby example.

You will have Health & Safety responsibilities where you will identify and assess risk to warehouse employees and, of course, have people management skills.

You will need to have previous experience within a warehouse and of supervising/managing a team.

Salary : £30,000 - £32,000 p.a. depending on experience

Hours : Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm

Location : Verwood (you would need your own transport as public transport to and from Verwood is limited)
