World Options are a provider of international courier, parcel delivery and courier services.
We have an exciting opportunity within our freight desk department. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has knowledge of the freight industry.
The role is predominately telephone based, therefore you will need to have excellent telephone communication skills.
This is a complex and varied role in an exciting, friendly and busy freight environment, providing a great opportunity for someone to enhance their skills.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
For this Freight Desk Clerk role, you would be asked to do the following:
- Chasing quotes for clients
- Answering queries from Franchisees
- Admin duties e.g. filing, photocopying etc.
- Answer customer phone queries in a timely manner
**Desired Skills**
The right Freight Desk Clerk will need:
- Good English and Maths skills
- IT literate - Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Professional telephone manner
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Experience of road, air and sea freight
