**Personal Assistant: One 2 One Support**

Location: Accrington area | Manual Driving Licence Required

**About this role**:
We are seeking a calm, quietly spoken individual of a similar age with a practical mindset, strong common sense, and a caring nature to assist a cheerful, bright, and articulate lad in his 30s.

He has a complex physical disability, and relies on a wheelchair for his mobility needs. Compassion, patience, and understanding are key qualities.

**As a key member, you will**:

- Promote independence and build confidence.
- Establish a steady routine to maintain stability and reliability.
- Accompany to essential medical appointments.
- Support enjoyable days out - whether it’s a scenic drive, a walk by the coast, a visit to the zoo, or a show - including trips to garden centres, coffee shops, shopping centres, and other destinations.

**Available**_**Schedules**:_

**Schedule One (18 hrs/week)**
- Wednesdays and Fridays - From 9:00 AM To 15:00 PM (Weekly)
- Sundays - From 14:00 PM To 20:00 PM (Weekly)

**Schedule Two (18 hrs/week)**
- Wednesdays and Fridays - From 9:00 AM to 16:00 PM (Weekly)
- Sundays - From 12:00 PM to 20:00 PM (Twice Monthly)

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Safely transport the service user in a specially adapted automatic vehicle.
- Provide personal care, such as toileting, bathing, and dressing.
- Support with basic household tasks and running errands.
- Plan and accompany the service user on daily outings based on his preferences, ensuring a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

**What We‘re Looking For**:

- A calm, professional attitude, with strong organisational skills.
- A clean UK driving licence and a genuine passion for driving.
- Physically fit and capable of sustaining active daily routines.
- Good overall medical health and physical well-being.
- A safe, confident and experienced driver on motorways.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (provided by the employer).
- Reliability, dedication, and strong decision-making skills.

**Working Environment**:
Support will be provided in a clean, safe home setting where the service user resides with his mother, ensuring a stable and consistent routine with help from his primary carer at different times.

Pay: £12.70-£13.00 per hour
