The Anaesthetics department at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust provides a variety of services across the Trust sites including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Oral Surgery, ENT, Colorectal, Urology. An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic anaesthetist seeking an opportunity to join the Anaesthetic Department for a permanent appointment. This post does include an on-call commitment. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be appointed as Honorary Senior Lecturer at Hull York Medical School (HYMS). This honorary appointment is in recognition of contribution to teaching and research and holders of honorary titles may request access to HYMS and University premises and facilities, systems, and library services. Scunthorpe General Hospital, Goole District Hospital and Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital deliver a full range of emergency/secondary health care services including intensive and high dependency care. There are fully equipped Theatres offering a quality service to a wide range of specialties including Urology, Gynaecology, Orthopaedic/Trauma, Colorectal, Maxillo-Facial, ENT, Ophthalmology, Surgical specialties, Dental and Obstetrics. Northern Lincolnshire offers superb value housing, excellent schools, road and rail links, plus an airport and ferry terminal.
