**Overview of the role**:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Content Creator and Social Media Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on crafting engaging content, managing social media platforms, and telling our brand story across multiple channels. You will play a pivotal role in connecting with our audience, both internally and externally, while ensuring consistency in our brand messaging.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:
**Content Creation**:

- Develop high-quality, engaging written content tailored for various platforms, including blogs, newsletters, social media posts, and press releases.
- Craft compelling brand stories and messages to communicate our mission and values.
- Ensure all content aligns with our tone of voice and brand guidelines.

**Internal and External Communications**:

- Support internal communications initiatives by creating newsletters, announcements, and updates.

**Social Media Management**:

- Support the planning, scheduling, and management of social media posts across platforms.
- Monitor social media trends and engagement, responding to comments and messages promptly.

**Website Updates**:

- Work with the team to ensure the website reflects our latest news, events, and campaigns.

**What you’ll bring**:

- **Experience**: Demonstrable experience in content creation, social media management, or a similar role.
- **Writing Skills**: Excellent written communication skills with a flair for storytelling and tailoring content for different audiences.
- **Social Media Expertise**: Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- **Creativity**: A passion for creating innovative and impactful content.
- **Organisation**: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure high-quality content.
- **Tech-Savviness**: Familiarity with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and basic graphic design tools is a plus.

**Nice to have Degree**:

- Marketing, Digital Marketing, or other relevant qualification(s)
- Membership CIM or CIPR
