**Wiltshire College & University Centre** have a great opportunity for a **Deputy Head - Health & Life Sciences** to join our team.

**Location: Cross College/Salisbury, Wiltshire**

**Salary: £40,876 rising to £42,711 per annum (Deputy Head Grade 1 & 2)**

**Job Type: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)**

**Deputy Head - Health & Life Sciences - The Role**:
We are seeking a passionate Deputy Head to join our Health & Life Sciences Faculty. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on our students, staff, and local communities by delivering high-quality, industry-relevant education.

As the Deputy Head, you will work closely with the Head of Faculty, playing a pivotal role in managing and developing our portfolio of courses. Your leadership will be key to ensuring excellence in teaching and learning, whilst responding to the ever-changing landscape of the health and life sciences sector.

**Deputy Head - Health & Life Sciences - Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Head of Faculty in leading and managing the Health & Life Sciences team to deliver excellent outcomes for learners.
- Leading curriculum development, aligning with industry needs and regulatory standards.
- Mentoring and inspiring a diverse team of academic professionals.
- Engaging with key stakeholders, including the NHS, universities, and local employers, to enhance partnership opportunities.
- Promoting a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

**Deputy Head - Health & Life Sciences - You**:

- A strong understanding of curriculum design, student engagement, and quality assurance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
- A commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and a student-centered approach.
